Hello everyone.

I'm having some difficulties with animation in PaceMaker (an absolutely brilliant program, by the way).

I've created a really simple model in Wings3D. It is a sphere, with 8 sections and 3 slices. Two faces are then extruded (normal) to form the "arms". That is all that was done with the model, before exporting in 3ds format. No UV-mapping, no texturing.

The model was loaded into PaceMaker (1.33), where I created a root joint, then a 2nd joint. The 2nd joint was moved out to the end of one of the arms.
I then assigned the 4 vertices at the end of the arm to the joint.
Moving the joint around caused 2 of the vertices to follow the joint's movements, but the other 2 stayed where they were. I want all 4 to follow the joint's movements.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

EDIT: I think I've solved it. Connecting 2 opposing vertices on each face at each of the 2 ends of the arms seems to fix it.

Cheers,
Ervin

Hi Ervin - Vertex assignment should be rock solid in PaceMaker. Hope you solved the problem - if not send me the test model you are using and I'll have a look.

Thanks for your help Ricky.
I've resolved my (silly) problem.
