Exporting Wings3D Vector Colors

This is a pretty beginner-level question, but when I model in Wings3D and I set surface colors the way I like, when I export to a .3DS or other model format readable by Blitz3D, I want the colors I set in the Wings3D editor to be the skin of the model.

Is this possible?

To get vertex colours to work in Blitz3D, you need to use 'EntityFX entity,2'.

This, unfortunately, didn't help.
It's probably Wings3D not exporting the surface color attributes of models.

.3ds format does not support vertex colors, you need to use .obj format out of wings.

My path from Wings to Blitz would be Wings > .obj > 3dsMax > MaxPipeline > Blitz

Sorry, I forgot .3ds doesn't support vert colours. :)

I don't have 3dsMax so my path would be Wings > .Obj > UltimateUnwrap > .b3d > Blitz
