Sorry for the dodgy subject but it's been ages since I've done anything with 3dsMax and I'm having real problems remembering any of this.

I had a model which I didn't make, all I have to do is export. All is good except I get three objects, the head, the body and a little round disc on the floor between his feet. I don't want the little round disc to export. I can't remember where it comes from, but i think it's a biped option. Something connected to footsteps? I don't remember. So any info on what it is, why it's there, what it's called, how to get rid of it, stop it from exporting etc, would be great.

It's a reference to show the center of balance of the character, and with most exporters doesn't get exported. there are options to hide footsteps and what have you, and display bones.

I've been doing too much vehicle and environment stuff of late to recall well myself. But its all documented in the online reference if you have a newer version of max that includes Character studo
