Hello

Can TurboSquid models be used for commercial games ?
I suppose so, but there is no evidence .
For example , you can purchase the same models both from TurbosSquid and from the author ,at the same price.
Does it mean that the author's commercial conditions still apply even though you downlooad the models from TurboSquid?

Depends on the license/terms and conditions set forth by the author.

There'll probably be a readme.txt file in the models if you buy one explaining the licensing situation.

Some artists sell their work through several sites, ie. Model Bank and Turbosquid.

I would imagine the license is the same from both sites, it just gives the artist more chance of selling their work and getting their name know, as oppose to selling through just one site.

...Not that it made the licence any clearer, but... :O

Exactly it the reason why I was asking

" I would imagine the license is the same from both sites.."

No, in some cases it is not the same
