Hi all,

1. Do we need to pay extra fees for using bsp map in our game?
2. Does anyone try "BSP factory 1.2" ?
3. Is "Quark" useful to Blitz3d?

Thanks in advance.

1) All I know is that you can't use maps created in Radiant in commercial games, unless you pay ID Software. (Or whoever created Radiant)
2) Never heard of it.
3) Never used Blitz3D, but if it can load Quake maps then yes.

BSP Factory is a tool for converting bsp maps into b3d files. This way you can use your favorite level editor to create a map, and then sidestep the licensing issues by converting to b3d. Of course, you lose the occlusion information.
