I emailed this question to Josh@...
not sure if that was his actual email address because he is listed as josh@valvesoftware which is obviously a fake addy.

I want charactershop but as its a 'gamecreators' product I wondered if it still exports to B3D.

Also I wondered if it is possible to import original animations and export them to different models.

no and no.

I keep getting emails sent to your address returned to me.

You can use Unwrap3D to convert the exported x files to b3d.

As for animations, there is no standard for these, and it is impossible to "import" an arbitrary animation.

I think Lycos are really cracking down on spammers so maybe they are being overzealous.
Well Ill be buying CharShop sometime soon anyway its perfect for my next game.
Thanks for the reply.

AS for importing animations why dont you...
1.Let the user import an animated model,(x or b3d)
2.Strip the animations
3.Apply them to a new model

JoshK(Posted 2005) [#5]
That would be possible, but the new animations would not be compatible with my existing set.
