Landscape texturing from a colourmap

I have a landscape mesh (directx file), + vegetation colourmap bitmap. Using BlitzGrass, I can place vegetation according to the colourmap - cool. However, I also want to tile texture the landscape mesh by the colourmap (e.g. where 255,0,0 appears in the bitmap, place a rocky texture on the landscape mesh). I've looked at the various terrain tools and while they allow for tiled, multitexturing - they don't seem to support setting this up from a pre-loaded colourmap. Anyone have any ideas? |

Ok, no one has any ideas. Guess I'll have to code it myself (frown). |
