well,... any 3d model program can do this in the right hands. The easiest way to create photo realistic objects is to work from photos and proper texturing. There is a program called photomodeler that has a freeware version,... it allows you to make a 3d model from a series of photographs so you may want to look for it. There are several others that do this, but most cost several Thousand $$ |

? Lot's of polygons, photo texture source material, good UV-mapping, lot's of tweaking and few extra things like specular & bump maps... |

and good lighting :) it's amazing what you can do with god control of specular, bumps and a good lighting solution. |
