Is it possible to get the program Sound Recorder (that ships with Windows) to record more than 60 seconds? If so, how? Jason. |

I've never found a way to increase from 60 secs. Depending on your sound card you might have a recorder included. e.g. Creative Recorder allows > 60 secs. Hope it helps. |

yeah... i got creative recorder too... i like it! i was just bored... so i made a recorder... its not done yet though... and still some bugs... and other stuff... you can try audicity... its a great sound prog with multiple tracks, and more! (way more than 60 secs) you can do tons of fx in it too! http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ i use audicity for my games... P.S. for my program: ((IT AUTOMATICALLY SAVES ONCE YOU CLICK STOP RECORD)) |

If you wanna get sound recorder over 30 seconds what you do is record for the full time and slow it down over and over again until it is at the lengthyou want it then go back to begining and record! |

Audacity is a good choice if you are looking for a free sound recorder. |

Does Audacity have an option to record "What you hear"? For example if you have a dvd playing will it be able to grab the sound from that? Jason. |
