Hi guys, We´re working in a project using max and the b3d pipeline... we´re trying to get a b&w map to mask between two other maps in blitz3dbrush in max... Here´s an image of the problem: The funny thing is that the "custom world" in that image, is compiled with the previus release of blitz, but with the new one I get the same result of the b3d pipeline viewer inside max... This may be an issue of the b3d pipeline and not blitz, if its so, i apologize for bringing it here... thanks in advance... |

www.playerfactory.co.uk - click the forums link and you'll get to the pipleine forum. Also, I believe blitz's blending behaviour has changed recently - but the original effects should still be possible... |

apparent their was a bug(feature) in blitz that allowed nvidia cards to do what is being done in the viewer. The bug was removed in a newer version which is probably the version you are using with the custon world. In the latest version the bug was put back in by request. I just wonder which cards the feature won't work on. You can also look at the version history of blitz3D to see the bug being added back. |
