Anybody seen Silo? First I'd heard of it was last night but it looks like a good app. I went ahead and bought a copy ($109) because I liked the demo so much.

There's no renderer or anything fancy, just a lot of pretty good modeling tools and a pretty nice interface. Very lightweight.

It's no 3DS - or even C4D for that matter but it's darn good for the price.

Looks pretty cool. Looks a lot like Wings, only with nice additions like a customizable interface.

Looks nice, I think I'll try it in another of my lame attempts to boost my 3d modelling skills :D

Good choice!

We use it as our primary modelling tool. It is really very, very good.

Yeah is really cool, I put it on the top of my to buy list for the autumn.

I actually bought it a couple of days ago. Here's a ship I've spent a couple of hours on so far - the box at the front will be extended and detailed more in the final.

I really like the modeling tools - very efficient.

hmm..I tested, but I rather prefer Wings...of course, that's not saying it's bad, it's good indeed...

Ship looks really nice and it seems like the app is very quick and easy to use, good stuff!

Mearrin69,

are you still using Gamespace?

mearrin69(Posted 2004) [#10]
Heh, of course :) I have to - I work for the company...lol. This is just, um, research. Yeah! Research!

LOL. Research :-) Where can I read up GamesWorkshop policies about fan games. Btw. Nice ship. I like it.

It's on their legal page. Here's the link:

It's about halfway down the page I think...
