| Not totaly clear for me, if I upgraded&expanded the editor with numerous features, changed the gui, file format etc. Can i sell the resulting product? Or put it differently, can I sell commercial products based on this source code? |

| I think you can selling commercial products bases on this source code, you can't only distribute his media like icon or the mapdemo of terraED. Kiss. |

| Well im going to grab this forsure. I was going to start building a custom map editor, but this helps alot for my personal project. |

| On the TerraEd forum it was posted that he will continue the development of the program, but that he wanted to follow his own vision for the program and let others do what they want. So yes there should be updates coming in the future I believe. |

| Hi guys i have take this decision because some user's make some differents games (MMPORPG, FPS etc) and Terraed can't make all possibility for all this type of games ! When i say : not for commercial distribution like (utility, game package ...). I want to say that is not permit to do a level editor from terraed source for sell it ! idem if you want distribute a level editor with your game from terraed source code. The terraed source can be used for your hown game editor, personal use :) but you can sell your game ! of course ! lol :) but not the editor if it use my source code ! do you understand ? Of course i continue to develop terraed ! |

| What's the point of adding new functionality to TerraEd if it prevents me from selling my game? :( I'd rather use the regular version of TerraEd. |

| ?? do read ??? I have never say that you can't sell your game :) i have say that you can't sell a level editor with terraed source code under. |
