appears consideration is being given to a low-cost version of Lightray3D, aimed primarily at modeling and import/export. while i couldn't vote, i did post my support for this option on their forum (there's a thread for input linked on front page). since it supposedly exports Blitz3D format, figure people might want to chime in...

I have been using Lightray3D for a while and it is a really good product for the cash.

The author seems very open to user suggestions, which is always a good thing

not seeing anyone add their two cents. odd. forum accepts Guest comments. figured good low-cost tools were something everyone wanted.
