Nice particle editor. I was browsing around for particle
apps on the net and stumbled accross this one. I recently
bought Particle Candy and noticed some of the particle
graphics are in this app. If you're planning on using
those graphics you might want to check the coprights.
Not knocking particle candy at all. It's a great drop
in particle system, easy and friendly to use. It does need
an editor though.

Particle Illusion is a nice tool, i have 3.0
PI SE was given away free some time ago by digit magazine.
Might wanna backorder that copy. (digitmag.co.uk i believe).

Paricle candy seems very nice...been thinking about purchasing it for some weeks now (but havent decided yet :-)
Illusion has a nice editor indeed...but it does cost much more then Particle Candy too. 375 Dollars difference is alot.

Also PI can render movies ans stills but Particle Candy are TRUE particles in B3d which is nice ofcourse.

<start pimp>
Of course you could use ExGen :)

Written in blitz and created specifically for games - its a lot cheaper too

Ben,
ExGen is cool too :-)
Oh let's not forget Texturemaker which has a cool particle-engine too.

BUT, and i'm not saying that to get a huge discount on ExGen, i've seen some files from your competition and i am very impressed.

There...now stop pimping :-)

"let us get wet where no man has gotten wet before..."

Sounds kinky. Do we need protection for that?
