Wow, very nice! Looks way better than some Photoshop artistic Filters IMHO.

Thanks for the link. This is pretty cool! Very specific to simulating oil painting and chalk on a canvas (ie. this is for painting, not image editing,) but it is very good at that. Certainly better than Painter, and this is free. I emailed the authors to encourage them to port this to Mac so I can paint on my Powerbook.

'Certainly better than Painter' hmm i think not. painter is a pro qulaity package. This is for hobbyists.
