Flat packing rules! I just understod this morning how big effect (good one!) it will have on the scene I'm constucting now... really a life (lightmap) saver! Rendering speed up? Are you sure that you did not forget to enable shadow caster from some methods like earlier... ;P |

No, it's all done pre-rendering where it builds a scene-graph/bsp-tree/octree (actually it's neither of those, but it's similar) thingie which speeds up the rendering :) |

Neat, especially the Modulate2X support :) |

Hi, There were a few buggers with the changes to the viewport system. They are sorted now, so you can download v1.20a from the website. Have a nice weekend :) |
| ||
What's flatpacking by the way? |
| ||
It is similar to planar uv-mapping... It doesn't split the models like the complex packing, but rather projects the lightmap. It's the thing to use if you want to lightmap a terrain or another flat-ish model. |

Ah, I understand ... I've just downloaded it, and I've almost got a cool scenery model done, so I'll give 1.20 a spin later. Cheers :) |
