Interesting...I guess you can only get it if you
are going to sponsor it...

That looks fantastic

I e-mailed them asking if it was available in the
US or other than Japan. If you look further down
the page there are Japanese sites where you can
download Japanese versions of SupaHex 4 which I
assume have the character generator.
If I hear back from them I'll update the post.

Yeah, or similar to Real2Virtual and all those other
photogammetry(?) type programs. I'd sure like to see how well it really works.

although not generally interested in 3D or programming in 3D, it does look nice.

Ive got a freelancer helpin me with some charactere concept art so this would be useful to convert the art.

The main difference I noticed between this and most other photo->3d programs is that you (allegedly) only need 2 photos - side and front.
I've tried programs where you need about 20 photos taken at VERY specific angles and lighting conditions : it would probably be quicker to build the thing from scratch!

Look at the shot of the Japanese woman wearing the red jacket. The program has actually created the jacket extremities (note the front/lower portion), not just mapped it onto the body. *Nice*.

I got an e-mail back from the company and unfortunately
there is (as of yet)no reseller outside of Japan and they
won't sell a copy from Japan that would work on US machines. They need a reseller! Anyone with the ways and means listening??? hint

This is the reply I got from them, I'm not sure what it means!! I emailed them back and said I would like to test it.

HexaSuper4 can export as OBJ with UV map information. So I think you may
import to MAX.
But "Human Generator" is Ease to Use product for everyone and the result
is
not so precious. So, we afraid that HexaSuper4 is not suitable for your
purpose.

> won't sell a copy from Japan that would work on US machines.

Wouldnt you just have to configure your machine to run it?
(I mean, my PC has all the badoozle to run Japanese programs....actually, it is basically configured to be one right now aside from the fact my keyboard is American..)
