This is really good Fredborg.

You don't fancy doing a special introductory discounted price for a poverty stricken aussie by any chance? ;)

Yesh!

Wow, gile[s] is getting better and better :)
Love it. Best program I have bought in quite a while.

Barnabius(Posted 2004) [#6]
Fredborg, are you still locking the program to computer hardware?

IMO 1.1 changed that already:

Gile[s] is one of the best pieces of software I have ever bought!

Gabriel(Posted 2004) [#9]
Erm.. were we supposed to receive an updated registration key in order to use 1.1?

fredborg(Posted 2004) [#10]
Yes, if you haven't received it, please send me an email :)

Gabriel(Posted 2004) [#11]
Ok, thanks. I've been busy finishing my game, so I wasn't really keeping an eye on the last couple of updates for this. Email on it's way.

CyBeRGoth(Posted 2004) [#12]
Sweet banannas!

Love the new update(s)! a lot faster than before especially on scenes with transparent textures (like leaves etc)
Hopefully I will have a chance to have a real play around with it soon, after all this uni work I am doing, that i could have and should have! done during my break :P

Hi fellas,

Glad you liked v1.15 :) But there were a few bugs, so I've uploaded version 1.16 which includes:

- Improved Paint Engine
- Global Illumination Speed Up
- Improved Render Support for Material + Texture Blend Modes
- A few other bug fixes

Here is a screen of some transparency effects:

All combinations of texture+material alpha, multiply, add blend modes are now fully supported both with Direct Illumination and Global Illumination. You can get the scene from the gile[s] website, to play around with :)

Have a great weekend!

CyBeRGoth(Posted 2004) [#14]
Brilliant
I love the way you can make stained-glass type effects now :)

Akat(Posted 2004) [#15]
is this mean i can export it back into B3D format complete with the animation

Richard Betson(Posted 2004) [#16]
Still have not got my tax return... But Gile[s] is on my spend list. :)

L8r,

fredborg(Posted 2004) [#17]
Akat: Nope, animation is still lost!

Richard: Wait a little longer, and get toon shading for free :)

A couple of skweens:

CyBeRGoth(Posted 2004) [#18]
OK! That looks cool!
And will look cool in my game which is cartoony! :)

Richard Betson(Posted 2004) [#19]
@Fredborg

Will do. :)

L8r,
