I want to develop my editors etc using .NET

I have created a test app at

here to check which platforms can support the apps I dev.

All require the .NET framework, but hey, that's progress for you ;-)

Mr Microsoft tells me

Platforms the .NET Framework can be installed on
Windows 98
Windows 98 SE
Windows ME
Windows NT 4.0 (all versions - Service Pack 6a required)
Windows XP Home Edition
Windows 2000
Windows XP Professional Edition
Windows 2003 Server

Can owners of these operating systems let me know if this is true,

That's a mighty big download for a 68k program :P

Works here - Windows XP Home.

Yeah its true. Everything except Win95.
