I've been playing around with DGeeMe from www.geeware.com
It seems interesting but I have to test it more before I decide if it is as effective a low-cost mocap tool as the website suggests. Unfortunately bvh export seems borked. I've already emailed them about it but I'm curious if someone else has tried the tool and gotten animation data out of it (in which case please explain.)

I'm going to have a play with it this weekend - will let you know if I can get anything useful - just got to persuade my bird to pose for me.
Pity about the bvh export - hope it gets fixed.

Not very successful the first attempt - it seems that it will only import the .avi format if you're not doing a direct video capture. Need to find a good mpg to avi converter. Will try again.
