Has anybody had any experience in exporting from boned .lws to boned .b3d format using the Lightwave exporter? How do you add bones to your object as I have followed the instructions in the docs and I cannot get it to work. Ideally I would like to do it with skelegons which is meant to be possible by creating them on a seperate layer in modeler but when taken into the layout editor to animate you have to make the bones active thus they are no longer in a seperate layer which brings up an error in the exporter saying no bones in spare layer (or something along those lines) any help wold be great.

Jason.

I think you ;

Convert bones from skelegons
Select the objects 1st layer
Click on the bones button, it will say no bones.
Click "Item Properties"
The top field is "Use bones from Object", change this to the objects 2nd layer.

Now the bones in the 2nd layer will effect the object.

Hope this helps
