I can't help but feel like this is fake news, but if it isn't, wow.

It seems highly ironic (to me anyway) that the gloablist idealogs of the EU want to have a nationalist facebook. I thought the whole point of the EU was to bring all the countries together, not split something up that was already uniformed.

Only just recently Wikipedia was blocked in Turkey, for erm reasons. It seems like governments really are scared of the Internet and how their citizens can find their way to the facts.

On the plus side: They are working on getting rid of region blocking for software, music and video within the EU, which means your netflix, streaming music, and Steam will continue to work regardless of where you're travelng on vacation across Europe.

International roaming fees for voice & data is already a thing of the past.
