Can someone help me with the pinball-like physics to make a game like sonic (the hedgehog)?

Huh? Pinball-like physics?
What do you mean?
If it's like jumping and so on, you should use non-linear gravity, and a "jump start speed".

If you ask specific stuff like this, please show us some code so that we can help. It's like "please can someone write me code"...
