Concept drawing books?

| I am interrested in increasing my skills in character/ environment concept design. Are there any books specifically aimed at making concept for production purposes? Ive not run accross any. |

| I don't know of any but there are 'illustration' books that deal with marker techniques and such. A lot of the 'concept art' that you see from game studios draws its techniques from architectural and industrial design illustration practices - so you can learn a lot by looking into these. Also, I'd recommend registering at and frequenting www.conceptart.org. Good stuff over there...and the regulars are always posting things that are worth studying for technique. Hope that helps. M |
