I just created a 2D game interface that requires testing, it's for my small 3d multiplayer tictactoe game. I want to know how many fps you get...And Opinions are always apreciated.

download click here 1.01MB * When the download dialog apears just select open....

comments: NICE graphic design.

54fps in windowed.
P4 2.6
1 gig DDR pc2700
Radeon 9700 pro
win Xp

Just out of interest, do you have debug mode on in the demo?
54fps is not the usual speed I would get for something of this nature...

darklordz(Posted 2003) [#4]
I wounder why it's running so heavy, I get 60 FPS on full screen and 61 in windowed usualy. The problem that causes the slowdown in FPS is that during screen transitions all is destroyed , freed and recreated! So there should be no slowdowns in the FPS caused by mem. I had a bug with the screen transitions but thats fixed. And I don't know if this is good or bad... :S Need help!

Ow and i almost forgot. If the fps starts ot with 61 it doesn't experience any slowdowns, the fps will remain 61 fps. Maby after a scr trans. it might go back to 54 r sumpthin but it will build back upto 61. If you experience slowdowns plz report.

Well it does look nice, and in fullscreen works at my Refresh rate, so I guess its just curse of the no double buffer!

nice interface. very swish. except the trqansition between menus is a *tiny* bit too long. perhaps 1/4 second.
