| this depends on your skills. Most people starting with basic try to write a too big game. How big are your skills in basic coding? I would suggest first start with a test role game, where only one person exists and the try to send them from one action to the next. and you have to decide, how the optic of this game should be. 3D or tile-based, or only texts?
