How strong comuter

I wonder, if 1200 polygon mesh (animated - skeletal) with 512x512 bmp texture is doing fine with blitz engine, if we consider there will be few character like this on level, + level itself will have maybe 10000 polygons with textures. Also with some Sprite Candy huds above. Some lighting also.
What would you judge this, high demanding, medium, or low demandig sistem (end user) configuration ?

Possibly should be in blitz3d as opposed to blitzplus forum (blitzplus is mainly 2d).

However - what you suggest should run fine on my machine which is the following:

Asus A4K Laptop about 2Ghz AMD processor, 64MB (dedicated) VRAM Ati 9700, 512MB System RAM, WinXP, other specs I don't know?

It is blitz3d, sorry :)

Well i am cautious because i started to create models of that complexity, and would not be glad to be surprised...
Probably those of you that have gone through whole process can comfort me :)
