If you ever get into network programming (like multiplayer games), then you will probably want to use your own computer as a server that others can connect to. However, if you have a dynamic IP address (this means that the numbers used to tell other computers which one is you is constantly changing) then you have to find a way to let your clients know what your IP is currently set to. Anyways, all you have to do is go to www.dyndns.com. There you can set up a FREE site that you can then obtain your IP from. They use third party software to constantly update your IP to their database. Then they change the address of the website. You can then have your computer connect to said site to establish your IP. I myself found a FREE ip establishing service very useful so I decided to post it here.

I wasn't paid, I just was looking for such a service for like 3 months, and figured others were as well. I saw your no-ip in a post before and couldn't get it to work the way that Dyn-DNS does.
