Tortoise SVN Question

BlitzMax Forums/BlitzMax Module Tweaks/Tortoise SVN Question

QuickSilva(Posted 2008) [#1]
Is there a way to disable the overlays on folders (green ticks etc...) when using Tortoise SVN. I cannot find an option in the preferences that seems to work and I find them a little annoying. They are not displayed in the Tortoise SVN tutorial video (for BMax SVN) so it must be possible right?

Any help would be great.

Jason.

In the Settings -> Look and Feel -> Icon Overlays if you turn off all the checkboxes in the Drive Types section, the icons will go away.

They're incredibly helpful in showing you which files have been modified and which have not. They also tell you if files are versioned or not.

I wouldn't recommend turning them off but its up to you.

If he is only using SVN to get BlitzMax and that is all, I can see the icons not really being necessary. But, they are every helpful if you use SVN more than just to grab BlitzMax.

I see now after using SVN for a while that they are actually helpful as GfK says.

Trouble is that if you edit a module yourself it then shows as not up to date with the latest SVN version. Am I missing something?
