I think it's fair to say that if you don't know, you don't need 'em! (They're Amiga image and sound formats.)

The only really useful thing about these modules over current gen techs (like png/ogg) is that you can use the IFF ILBM format to load the same picture with different palettes. Other than that, what James said. =]

And thje ability to play anim-5,6,7 and 8 animations, too! ;)

Are you kidding? (Well, yes, you were, I know, but, uhh) Those formats are insane to code. I was contemplating it, but since I have no need and probably nobody here has touched even these modules, it's not going to happen ;]

Actually I was contemplating it because I wanted the ability to load in an animbrush... animbrushes require practically the same code as an anim5, but decided against it in the end.
