fmod ex module?
BlitzMax Forums/BlitzMax Module Tweaks/fmod ex module?

as the sound system doesn't seem to be perfectly stable in blitzmax is anyone planning to develop an fmod ex (www.fmod.org) wrapper? the license costs are high but the shareware license has a reasonable price (100 usd). or do you know any other good sound library which is cross platform and rock stable? |

Well I do have a working fmodex module (for windows) that I'll release to the community when I'm finished. I'm documenting it ATM, but I don't have much spare time due to work :( [EDIT] ATM it uses commands like FMOD_Channel_Stop(), but I might oo it up if thats what people would prefer, what ya think? |

OOP is not desirable as documentation for FMOD should be consistent with whats on the site IMHO |

But fmodex documentation is in oop style for example the above command is documented as Channel::Stop, But there are both interfaces in the fmodex dll. |
