Just wondering as I've heard of people using SDL (and OpenGL-based framework) have trouble with it. If you have tested, was all OK or did you need any special code? Thanks! |

What I've tested so far on my Retina MBP works fine – just without Retina resolution, obviously. |

I'd love to see a screenshot of MaxIDE on a retina display. Is the entire app drawn at half the resolution and then scaled up? I don't find this an obvious behavior in the slightest. Last edited 2012 |

I'd love to see a screenshot of MaxIDE on a retina display. Well, I really would like to show you a low-res MaxIDE running on a Retina display, but unfortunately, I fixed it to run at HiDPI. You'll have to do with a non-Retina Textwrangler compared to a Retina MaxIDE. :P Is the entire app drawn at half the resolution and then scaled up? I don't find this an obvious behavior in the slightest. That's exactly how it is done. Apple isn't (always) dumb, you know: when they introduced something like HiDPI, they took care that not adapted apps still are useable. |
