http://nuwen.net/
or
http://nuwen.net/mingw.html
or
http://nuwen.net/files/mingw/mingw-7.2.exe

Are not available anymore but required to install MinGW on windows.
If someone knows any good mirror and want to share it ;)

Me I will simply copy and past the MinGW folder from another installation and add the C:\MinGW in my env var (should work I suppose).

I have uploaded an auto-extractible folder version of the needed MinGW on my website.
You can download it here : http://arm42.com/downloads/softwares/Nuwem_MinGW_7.2.exe

Tested on a fresh Windows 7 and BlitzMax installation, it's working like it should.

Hope it help

Hang on...

I haven't been paying attention or updated my BlitzMax in a while... what's the reason for switching to the Nuwen version over normal MinGW? Other than needing to rebuild the main modules oneself, is there any reason why it wouldn't work with the standard edition?

It seems it has the GCCs or whatever the hell that means, plus it's easier to install.

GNU(GNot Unix) Compiler Collection

I'm sure it's pronounced without the "G", and is named after one of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wildebeest
