Creating windows, menus, etc. in BlitzMax?

| Hey guys! Can BlitzMax do things like creating windows, menus, and other system gui's like that (similar to BlitzPlus)? I was under the impression it could for some reason, but I looked through the command list and couldn't find anything that would let me Maybe a module I could download? I'm on Mac OS, if that makes a difference. EDIT: Ahhh sorry guys! I found it. | Huh; so get this, I was surfing through the samples to see if I could find one that has these commands, and the imagedrop sample file that comes with BMax (samples -> maxgui -> sliderthing -> imagedrop.bmx) doesn't compile! I get an error on the command "Import MaxGui.Drivers" . Is this module supposed to come with BMax? Am I missing out because I'm on the Mac version? |

| I should clarify - this sample is special because it includes CreateWindow, CreateMenu, and other related commands I was hoping for. |

| You have to download MaxGUI separately from BlitzMax. Check the "Account"/"Product updates" area of this website for the MaxGui downloads. Also, check http://sourceforge.net/projects/maxgui/ for the latest-latest MaxGUI files. Make sure the maxgui.mod folder is in your BlitzMax mod folder. I just compiled imagedrop.bmx on my (Windows 7) machine, and got no errors. I have the latest BlitzMax installation and MaxGUI 1.40. |

| Download maxgui from here and copy the maxgui.mod file to the mod directory in the BlitzMax folder then run the documentation builder. https://sourceforge.net/projects/maxgui/files/ Edit: SpaceAce beat me to it Last edited 2011 |
