Launch background process?

Is there any way to launch a background process from within Blitzmax? Either minimized (while retaining the focus in the primary application which launched it), or suppress any screen output altogether? (I'm just looking for something under Windows, so it doesn't have to be cross-platform)

You can use Pub.FreeProcess.
