Get Ogg / Wma metadata ?

Hello! how can one read ogg or wma metadata ("Tags") out of a file ? I tried to understand the file specification docs, but did not make it :p I do not need concrete code, rather I need a guidance that is understandable ^^ Cheers, Daniel
