MaxIDE stopped opening files

When I open a bmx file from Windows Explorer in MaxIDE the editor just opens with no code file opened.

When I drag a code file into the MaxIDE window it creates a version of the file with a period at the beginning and saves it.

NotePad, BLIDE, and Project Studio all work correctly.

Ollllldddddd issue, you can hit new file before loading files, seems to always work for me.

It's the auto backup feature that was added a while ago for when people edit the module source or the examples.

Try going to File->IDE Options and untick auto backup.

That's just it, it can happen on files that are not modules.
