Because I need to make an error message if it's only 256 colours, thanks! :-)

I can imagine what that error message will be... "Only 256 colour desktop?! WTF? lam3r!"

Dreamora(Posted 2007) [#4]
Nobody would understand that.

The correct error would be: "Error: This game only supports personal computer build after 1900. For C64 level support, ask Commodore or Amiga" ;-)

Thanks TonyG, now to find out the ACTUAL code behind it ;-)

Big10p and Dreamora: haha. More like "Error: you need a new PC, please go to GreyAlienPCs.com"

Look at the `Desktop Extension` in the module tweaks forum.

My son has some old win95 educational games that are mentally challenged. They complain that you need to increase your color count when you have 32 bits colors, because it checks to make sure you are runnin in 256 color mode.

The c64 has only had 16 colors and the amiga 4096...lam3r! (haha)
