I'm just starting out with BMax. What 3D engines/userlibs work with BMax? Any of them DX9 compatable?

ColdSteel works perfectly with BlitzMax, and uses both OpenGL and DX9

LeadWerks engine. Currently OGL only, but I think there may be DX plans in the pipeline.

Irrlicht, TrueVision3D, 3Impact and Dreamotion are all DX9.

I don't have experience with anythiing apart from TV3D and a little 3DImpact back when it was DX8. So don't take that as any kind of recommendation, because I haven't used it.

Sure it is, but it is DX7 not DX9 so not nearly current generation.

If you want to use Blitz3D, its simpler and faster (performance wise) to use Blitz3D.
