Is there a RakNet wrapper for BlitzMax? (or another really good networking library?)

Thanks,
John

Check out the search feature on these forums....

If not check out the thread

Kurix implemented a very nice wrapper of the RackNet library (http://www.rakkarsoft.com) for Blitz3D. Its an easy process to change the decals file in the blitz3d example to suit Blitzmax.

I must say its a very stable networking library and really easy to setup and use.

Is it cross platform? would be really good.

Thanks for the replies!

For some reason I don't think that Raknet is cross-platform, but I can *DEFINITELY* be wrong!!

Actually reading the thread above, it appears that RakNet IS cross-platform. That's great news!

However, in that thread I can download Kurix's wrapper but RepeatUntil apparantly translated it to BlitzMax but his link is broken. I've sent him an e-mail so hopefully he will respond to it.

I'm not familar with translating decls from Blitz3d to BlitzMax so hopefully I can find an already translated copy (eg. RepeatUntil's).

Just to let you know, I've updated the wrapper to the latest RakNet version 3.8.2:
