For my customers who don't visit the showcase forum, I thought I'd better let you know about the new version of the BlitzMax Game Framework that is out (V1.02). I used this version to make my latest game, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Please see this thread for details about the new version:

I didn't get mine either... but that's probably because I haven't bought it. :P

Must say this is AWESOME, well done Grey :)

I'm really thinking to get a copy of Armadillo BTW ..

Got it now, YAY!

Best purchase I've made in a long time. :)

Keep up the good work Grey. :)

The Caffeine Kid: well your problem is easily solved with a Paypal account or a credit card ;-p

Yoko: Cool. Armadillo is quite pricey, like $150 for Basic and double that for PRO. I bought Basic but realise I need Pro for 60 minute trials!!! Anyway, the support I added simply checks to see if an Armadillo trial licence is active (looks for an enironment variable), and if so sets a TGame field called Trial Version so you can take action, like limit the number of levels and display a splash screen as they exit or something. That's all really, but still it's pretty useful.

Amon: Thanks for your support! Enjoy it.
