If you've got a spare couple of minutes, could you please try this little tester for me, just want to know how long it takes to load and mix the entire mod to a blitzmax sample.

Also do you think it takes to long? ;)

Nice approach!

People have been complaining that ogg files take too long to decompress on slow machines, the trade off is however that the same slow machine won't have their smooth video update interrupted by the same process occuring during gameplay.

Not that freeaudio doesn't need a streaming interface (it's on my list).

@Skid, any chance we could have loop points added as well at some point? so I can handle pattern jump effects properly, pretty please ;)
