Can BlitzMax work with touch screen monitors? Does anyone have any experience with this or have an idea of a good solution?

Thanks.

Not sure here.
Do they base on the same technology as touch pads? if so I don't think there is a pre-existing support for that.

if it is more like tablets, then there is a library by fredborg that should do the trick.

The touch panels that I've worked with emulate a mouse. When you touch the screen it will generate a left click at the location you touched. Works well with a B3D app that I wrote a while back.

@TeaVirus - Thanks for the response. Which touch panels have you used?

Actually don't see a problem.

my notebook touch pad actually supports up to 3 fingers for its gesture stuff.

Here is the one that I'm currently using:

I pretty much any touch panel to USB interface will probably work the same way (mouse emulation).
