Wow, I just noticed the Updates section is gone!

BlitzMax Forums/BlitzMax Programming/Wow, I just noticed the Updates section is gone!

Call me slow but I only just noticed that the updates forum is gone, the one that had all the suggestions for future releases. Uh, this seems odd. Was there an official post regarding why this was done? Do we post requests for updates (not bug fixes) somewhere else now or is BlitzMax considered "complete" ;-) ?

read the bit in white at the top of the page.

Grey Alien(Posted 2006) [#3]
ok sure, but there's no forums to discuss the updates. Oh and that sticky post about MinGW is gone which is causing many people a headache.

@Perturbatio: Read this encapsuled in quotes:

Do we post requests for updates (not bug fixes) somewhere else now?

Sub_Zero(Posted 2006) [#5]
@grey: Maybe there are more "hidden" forums around?

Grey Alien(Posted 2006) [#6]
Maybe there's a secret Max3D forum? who knows... I know there' a hidden bug forum.

This is one of the hidden forums.

Not anymore it ain't! (Inernal error when trying to access it.)

splinux(Posted 2006) [#9]
?
You mean the link i posted?
It perfectly works.
Are you logged on blitzmax.com? or just on blitzbasic.com

try blitzbasic.com/Community/topics.php?forum=115

Sub_Zero(Posted 2006) [#10]
A shame some forums are "hidden" because I find them interesting.

Grey Alien(Posted 2006) [#11]
Yeah, the bug bin only works if I put blitzbasic.com in front as that's what I'm logged onto.

taxlerendiosk(Posted 2006) [#12]
That's really annoying, I thought it was great that you could see at a glance whether or not you have the latest version at the top of the main forums page.

NoBoDo(Posted 2006) [#13]
It would be nice if the new updates page listed the age of the updates, like it used to at the top of the forums. I can remember when I last updated a product more easily than what the last version I updated was.

Hotcakes(Posted 2006) [#14]
I don't see why they can't manually change the update info at the top of the forums every time there is a new release... It can't be that hard to type some text and upload it. The forums is the only page I look at anymore.

u2o(Posted 2006) [#15]
The hidden forum is there... Chances are that you are browsing this site on a different domain, and not the native BlitzMAX domain.

Click the link below (you will get an internal error):
http://blitzmax.com/Community/topics.php?forum=115

Login (because you will be logged out on that domain as no cookie has been written)

Then try the link again.
