Is there any way to make labels and panels to have no background or color of there own, but you see whats behind them? For example labels without the gray background

If you run your MaxGUI apps on Mac or Linux they are :-)

In windws labels always have a background color. There is probably a way by intercepting the paint or erase background messages in api.

There should be. i seem to rememeber you could do this in visualbasic.

How cares about transparency and visualbasic?. MaxGui Is working and I hope that BRL will leave it as is.

Eh? Lighten up alil will you? It does work yes but i find alot of the things i wish to do graphicly with the gui is limited becourse i cant do any transparency.
