Is BMK MakeMods slower now?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that building modules is quite a lot slower since upgrading to 1.12. It used to be very fast and it's not insanely slow or anything but it takes 2 or 3 times as long as it used to. Like 5 seconds to build a single large mod, where it might have been a second or two before. Not a problem, I guess, but just wondered if it might have been a slip somewhere that might be fixable. It's just a little bit annoying when you're tweaking a module WIP. |

what version of fasm do you have? |
| ||
The same one I had with 1.10 which was a lot faster. The supercharged version. |

1.64? |
| ||
Yes. |

makemods now builds release and debug versions of the modules which does indeed slow things down a little. |

Ahh, that would explain it then. Good to know I haven't got anything messed up. |

BlitzMax 1.10 didnt come with FASM 1.64. Unless you mean you updated it? |

makemods now builds release and debug versions of the modules which does indeed slow things down a little. Sounds like a good thing, considering the # of people that have run into problems with building mods in one mode, and not the other. |
