Now that the source-code for the IDE is available, I'm wondering how changes to it are actually implemented.
For example, I changed the annoying new ctrl+cursor (instead of ctrl+tab) key function in the IDE source but the changes did not take effect.
I get a compile error if I try and build it as I don't have MaxGui.

Excuse me if I'm being a bit thick here but can anyone tell me how to do this (that is make changes to the IDE and have them take effect, not necessarily compiling it).

Thanks in advance.

Unless you purchase MaxGUI you will need to wait for the changes to be included in the next official BlitzMax update.

Hopefully there will also be a community version of MaxIDE in development very shortly and you will be able to download the latest version of that to keep up to date.

Damn, that ctrl+cursor functionality is annoying.
Maybe I will buy MaxGUI...

Thanks for the reply.

or somebody who has max gui can make the change and send you a build.
