I put on line the version v0.17 of Eliza, with Doc partial (in French for the moment, sorry ), and three tutorial (it is a beginning)
This propot, Tuto2 (on the light) does not go on one of my computer:
in the code if I pass in Light DIRECTIONAL, I have something, but nothing in SPOT ?
could you make me share of the results on your computer please.
:)

Good job :) I have a question :

you newton module can be used with 2D primitive ?

FlameDuck(Posted 2005) [#3]
I think it's cool how two french guys can speak English, yet still understand each other.

ROFL

TMyke(Posted 2005) [#5]
for Newton in 2D, I did not test yet

Filax, my field it's the 3d, and I must acknowledge you that I do not have an answer sure to provide you. But 2d it's 3d but on only one plane, then why not. if I have time I would try a tests

And excuse me for my very approximate English

have you animated meshes in your 3D engine?
Can you post your achivments and your goals?

TMyke(Posted 2005) [#7]
it is envisaged in the version has to come. The MD2 format, for example, is suported in V0.20 who will be on line tomorrow, will follow format MD3.
If not which format of animation would like you to have, Eliza also progresses according to the wishes of the user.

otherwise, the Eliza3D is a basic engine to allow the simple use of the basic functions of Direct3D. It manages or will manage:
ligth, camera, sprite2D
sprites3D, mesh , mesh animates,
collision, particles, shader, etc

then later, (in approximately 2 months) it will integrate an terrain- engine

bye :)
