Wiki documentation needed?

BlitzMax Forums/BlitzMax Programming/Wiki documentation needed?

A lot of people seem to be having problems with the built in BlitzMax documentation. (See an example here: http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=42112 although as a warning - the thread degrades a bit towards the end!)

Can I suggest that a wiki is made, so that rather than Mark having to slave over it or a single person do it for him, it could be a collaborative effort, and people could add and remove detail. Perhaps then if it becomes good and comprehensive documentation then it could be frozen and packaged with BlitzMax itself? The forums are a great source of info, but searching through them can be an extremely arduous task - it would be much nicer if people could add stuff to a searchable wiki.

Could someone set up a wiki on their server, with the existing docs as a basis?

[edit: those who don't know what a wiki is, see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki ]

The old BlitzBasic / Blitz3d online manual allowed all users to add comments, and the dev team to update the docs to incorporate those comments.

I want to see this functionality brought back a.s.a.p. as it achieves exactly the goal you're seeking to achieve, but in a more controlled manner.

I've never looked at a wiki... but it seems to be a good idea.
