bmx specific toolbox?

BlitzMax Forums/BlitzMax Programming/bmx specific toolbox?

I noticed that little to no source code from the toolbox forums will work in bmx. To me as a newbie it would be extremely helpful to either have those source snippets marked 'bmx compatible' or have them in a separate forum that specifically is for bmx code.

Cheers

Most of the codes won't work as they are normally Blitz3D and Max has no 3D module.

As long as you stay away from code that uses types or 3D they should normally work.

I thought types were still fine...

I think it would be a good idea to have a seperate BlitzMax code archive. I think BlitzMax is different enough from previous versions of Blitz that they aren't really the same language. I consider Blitz2D, Blitz3D, and BlitzPlus to all be different versions of the same program... but BlitzMax seems fundamentally different to me.

That being said, I would rather have BlitzMax before I have a BlitzMax code archive, so I don't think it is a pressing issue.

So pretty much everything then?

Agreed.

The code archives have already been modified to have separate bmx/bb entries.
